A prototyping shield cut to the Arduino Mega's outline, with a 170-point mini breadboard stuck on top and a large 0.1 inch grid around it. Every Mega pin comes up through stacking headers - including the double row of digital pins 22 to 53 along the back edge - so you can wire a circuit straight onto the shield instead of trailing jumpers off the board. There is a reset button, an ICSP header, and DIP and SOIC footprints in the copper for permanent parts.
