The DHT22 (AM2302) on a small carrier board with its pull-up resistor already fitted and a 3-pin header. It reads 0-100% RH to about plus or minus 2% and -40 to +80 C to about plus or minus 0.5 C, both to 0.1 resolution, over a single-wire digital line - one GPIO, no bus address to set. A fresh reading arrives roughly every two seconds, which suits weather stations, greenhouses and room logging rather than fast control.
