The most capable NFC board you can hang off an Arduino: an NXP PN532 that reads and writes 13.56 MHz cards, talks to an Android phone over NFC peer-to-peer, and can pretend to be a card itself. A two-way switch picks the host interface - UART by default, I2C at address 0x24, or SPI - and an on-board level shifter means it works with 3.3V or 5V logic without extra parts. Supplied with a white card, a blue keyfob, header strips and a jumper cable.
Key features
- NXP PN532: read/write, card emulation and NFC peer-to-peer
