The audio designer's default dual op-amp. Input noise of 5 nV per root Hz at 1 kHz, 12 MHz unity-gain bandwidth and enough output drive to work into 600 ohm loads - which is why it has been the standard part in mixing desks, phono and microphone preamps and hi-fi line stages for decades. It runs on split rails from plus/minus 5 V to plus/minus 15 V. Bipolar inputs, so it is not the chip for single-supply sensor work; use an LM358 there.
Key features
- Dual low-noise op-amp, 8-pin DIP
