The same thumbstick you find on a game controller, mounted on a breakout with a 5-pin header. Two 10k potentiometers - one per axis - give an analog voltage that sits near mid-scale when the stick is centred and swings toward either rail as you push; pressing the stick in closes a momentary switch on the SW pin. Two analog inputs and one digital pin, and you have proportional control for a robot, a camera gimbal or an on-screen menu.
