A chassis-mount slide switch with a long knurled slider and twelve solder-lug terminals, so one movement flips several circuits at once between two positions. It latches - slide it and it stays there, with no spring return. The stamped metal frame has screw holes so it bolts behind a panel, and you solder wires to the lugs rather than dropping it onto a PCB. Useful for bank, mode or channel selection where a single control has to move a lot of signals together.
