A small mains transformer with a centre-tapped secondary: 12 V - 0 - 12 V at 0.5 A, giving you 12 V either side of the centre tap or 24 V across the two outer wires. That is exactly what a split-rail supply or a two-diode full-wave rectifier wants. The primary is dual, marked 110 V / 220 V at 50/60 Hz, and it comes on flying leads with a bracket for chassis mounting. This is a mains part - fuse it, insulate it and keep it enclosed.
