IDC ribbon-cable connectors on 2.54 mm pitch, in 8-way (2 x 4) and 16-way (2 x 8), male or female. The female is the cable socket: lay flat ribbon cable across it, squeeze the cap shut in a vice, and every conductor is pierced and connected in one go. The male is the shrouded box header that solders into the board. Both are notched, so the cable can only go on one way round - which is what makes them the standard for programming headers and LCD looms.
