An A3144 Hall-effect switch on a 4-pin carrier with an LM393 comparator, a sensitivity trim pot and two LEDs. Bring a magnet near it and D0 flips cleanly - no contact, no bounce, no wear - which makes it the standard way to count wheel revolutions or build a magnetic door switch. It is a switch, not a field meter, and it is unipolar: if nothing happens, flip the magnet over.
Key features
- Contactless magnet detection, clean digital output
- Unipolar - triggers on one magnet pole only, so flip it if nothing happens
- LM393 comparator with sensitivity trim pot
- Power and signal LEDs on board
- 4 pins: VCC, GND, D0, A0
- For RPM counting, end stops and magnetic door switches
