A ready-made 7-inch colour monitor in its own case, with buttons on the front and an infrared remote window - feed it a composite (AV) signal on either of its two inputs and it just displays, no driver and no code. The V1/V2 button switches between the inputs and MENU with - and + covers brightness, contrast and colour. It runs from 12V DC, which makes it the easy screen for a reversing or CCTV camera, an FPV ground station, or a Raspberry Pi's composite output.
