Measures live AC mains voltage without tying your electronics to it. A ZMPT101B precision voltage transformer (2 mA : 2 mA) provides the isolation, and the onboard op-amp scales and biases the waveform into a 0-5V analog signal centred at mid-rail, so an ADC can sample the whole sine wave. The multi-turn trim pot sets the gain, and you compute RMS in software from fast samples. Pair it with a current sensor for a real energy meter. It wires to live mains - only take it on if you are comfortable with that.
Key features
- Isolated AC sensing via a 2 mA : 2 mA transformer
- Measures single-phase AC up to about 250V
- Analog 0 - 5V output, biased to mid-rail
- Multi-turn trim pot sets the gain
- 5 - 30V DC module supply
- Screw terminal for the AC side
