A USB carrier for XBee-footprint radios: drop an XBee (or a Bluetooth Bee, which shares the socket) onto the two 2 mm sockets, plug in a mini-USB cable, and the module appears on your computer as a serial port. That is how you run Digi's XCTU to set a PAN ID, node address or firmware, and it doubles as the base-station end of a link while the other radio sits out in the field. On-board 3.3V regulator and four status LEDs.
