RF Remote 433MHz

A handheld 433 MHz transmitter for switching something on from the other side of the yard - a gate, a pump, outside lights, or a receiver you have wired up yourself. 433 MHz is the licence-free band most remote switches in the region use, and unlike an infrared remote it goes through walls and around corners rather than needing line of sight. It has to be paired with a receiver on the same frequency: a 315 MHz receiver will not hear this one.

Key features

• Handheld 433 MHz transmitter, battery powered
• Works through walls and around corners - infrared does not
• Pairs with any 433 MHz receiver using the same encoding
• Frequency must match the receiver - 433 MHz is not 315 MHz
