Ten degrees of freedom on a 14 x 20 mm board: an MPU-9250 giving a 3-axis accelerometer (to plus or minus 16 g), a gyroscope (to plus or minus 2000 degrees per second) and a magnetometer, plus a BMP280 barometer for altitude. All four read out as 16-bit values over one I2C or SPI bus - attitude, heading and height together, for flight controllers and balancing robots. Onboard regulator takes 3-5V, but the logic is 3.3V, so level-shift from a 5V Arduino.
Key features
- 3-axis accel plus or minus 2/4/8/16 g
- 3-axis gyro plus or minus 250/500/1000/2000 degrees per second
- 3-axis magnetometer plus or minus 4800 microtesla
- BMP280 barometer, 300-1100 hPa, for altitude
- 16-bit output on I2C or SPI
- 3-5V in via onboard regulator, but 3.3V logic
