A plastic holder that takes AA cells and brings their power out on a lead - the simple way to run a project off shop batteries with no soldering to the cells themselves. The boxed versions have a slide-on lid to keep the cells in place, and the lead ends in a DC barrel plug so it goes straight into an Arduino-style power socket.
