A 9V PP3 battery snap with a DC barrel plug on the end, so a 9V battery can power an Arduino Uno, an effects pedal or anything else with a barrel socket - nothing to solder, nothing to cut. The plug is the common 5.5 x 2.1 mm size, centre positive, on a short red-and-black lead of roughly 15 cm. The quickest way to take a project off the bench and out of the building.
