The classic Uno ProtoShield: a 170-point mini breadboard on top, a 0.1 inch prototyping grid below it, and stacking headers that bring every Uno pin up to the shield's own edge, labelled. Build and test a circuit right on the board rather than running jumper wires off the side, then solder the finished version into the grid - there are DIP and SOIC footprints and two LED positions with resistors for that. Reset button on board.
