A ready-wired flame detector: an infrared photodiode that looks for the 760-1100 nm light a flame gives off, an LM393 comparator and a trim pot. You get both outputs - A0 for the raw infrared intensity, so you can follow a flame or judge how big it is, and D0 for a clean alarm trigger once the level crosses the threshold you dial in. Detects a small flame at around 60 to 100 cm over a 60 degree cone, runs on 3.3V or 5V and draws under 15 mA.
Key features
- Detects a flame by its 760-1100 nm infrared
- Analog A0 plus threshold-triggered digital D0
- 60 degree detection cone
- ~60-100 cm on a small flame, further on a big one
- Trim pot sets the digital threshold; power + trigger LEDs
- 3.3-5.5V, under 15 mA
