A 24V worm gearmotor on the 5840-31ZY pattern, geared to about 110 rpm off load and 80 rpm under its rated load. It is rated 5 kg·cm continuous and 8 kg·cm at stall, drawing under 0.6 A working and 1.4 A stalled, and the worm drive is self-locking so the load holds its position with the power off. At 360 g in a 58 x 40 x 36 mm gearbox, with an output shaft out of each side as pictured, it suits doors, hatches, dispensers and slow heavy turning.
