A MOSFET dual H-bridge that does the L298N's job with far less wasted heat: 1.2A per channel continuously, 3.2A peak, on a 20 mm square breakout. Motor supply goes up to 15V and the logic side takes 2.7-5.5V, so it suits 3.3V boards like an ESP32 as well as an Arduino. Each channel has two direction pins and a PWM pin accepting up to 100 kHz, plus a shared standby pin that puts the chip to sleep - which is why it is the usual choice for battery-powered line followers and micro robots.
Key features
- Two channels, 1.2 A each, 3.2 A peak
- Motor supply up to 15V, logic 2.7-5.5V
- MOSFET outputs waste much less than an L298N
- PWM to 100 kHz, four modes incl. short brake
- Standby pin for low-power sleep
- ~20 x 20 mm, breadboard-friendly headers
