An IEC 60320 C8 appliance inlet - the 'figure-8' two-pin socket you see on radios, chargers and small audio gear. Fit it and your project takes a standard C7 figure-8 mains lead instead of having a cable hard-wired into it. It bolts through the panel on a two-hole flange and the incoming mains wires clamp under screw terminals at the back. The C7/C8 coupler is rated 2.5 A at 250 V AC and has no earth.
