An unbranded 12V brushed motor in the flat, round 500-size can - the sort of motor that spins a fan, a small pump or a disc rather than driving a wheel. There is no gearbox, so it runs fast and light rather than strong; gear it down if you need pull. Two solder tabs on the back, a thin plain shaft, screw bosses on the face, and it reverses if you swap the leads.
