A heavy-duty geared motor built the way commercial machines do it: a large can motor driving a flat die-cast metal gear case, with a thick offset output shaft that has a cross-hole through it for a pin, crank or arm. It runs on 24V and is the type fitted to shredders, rotisseries, dispensers and small winches - the metal gear case and bearings are what let it take side load that a plastic gearbox would not survive.
