A flat, pancake-shaped low-voltage DC motor of the kind that spins CD and cassette mechanisms - a shallow round can with a drilled mounting face, a short thin shaft and two flying leads already fitted, so it screws flat against a plate. It runs off about 5V, is quiet, and draws very little. Useful for turntables, disc spinners, small fans and model or solar projects where a full-length motor body simply will not fit.
