An adapter board that gives an ESP-01S something to measure: a DS18B20 is already soldered on, the 2x4 socket takes the ESP module and a 2-pin header feeds power in. The DS18B20 covers -55 to +125C with about half a degree of accuracy over its useful range, at 9 to 12-bit resolution you choose, all over a single 1-Wire data pin. Flash the ESP with ESPHome, Tasmota or your own sketch and you have a Wi-Fi temperature node the size of a matchbox.
