A 30 mm brushless fan running straight off 5V, and at 6 mm the slimmest of the three sizes here - useful when there is depth for a fan but not much of it. It sits between the 25 mm and 40 mm fans: more air than the 25 mm without its shrill note, in a frame that still tucks into a small case. Typical jobs are cooling a driver board, a small enclosure or a Raspberry Pi that runs warm.
