The plain 5V version of our small open-frame mains modules: 700mA at 5V, about 3.5W, enough for a microcontroller, a few sensors and a relay or two. Isolated flyback with the transformer on the board, mains soldered to the pads at one end and 5V off the other - it is a board to build into a project, not an adapter to plug in. If you need more headroom, the 5V 2A module is the next step up.
Key features
- Regulated 5V DC at 700mA, about 3.5W
- Runs a microcontroller plus a few sensors
- Isolated flyback design - transformer on board
- Open-frame PCB, mains and DC on solder pads
- Compact enough for an in-wall or in-case build
- Live mains is exposed - enclose it, never probe it live
