High-side current sensing done properly. The INA219 sits above the load, measures the drop across an onboard 0.1 ohm shunt and the bus voltage at the same time, and hands back current, voltage and power as ready-made digital numbers over I2C - no op-amp maths, no ground-reference shift. Good for a 0-26V bus and up to 3.2 A with the fitted shunt at 0.8 mA resolution, or drop to the lowest gain for 400 mA at 0.1 mA. Ideal for finding out what a battery project really draws.
Key features
- Reports bus voltage, current and power over I2C
- 0 - 26V bus, up to 3.2 A with the 0.1 ohm shunt
