Brass heat-set inserts give a 3D-printed part a proper metal thread. Push one into a printed hole with a soldering iron and the knurled body melts into the plastic; once cool it holds a machine screw far better than a thread cut straight into the print, and survives being undone and redone many times. Three sizes are stocked, one M3 and two M4 - pick yours above and size the printed hole to the insert's smaller diameter.
