Matte PLA gives a frosted, low-sheen surface that scatters light and hides layer lines, so models look finished straight off the bed with far less sanding. Elegoo run it at 190-230 C with a 35-65 C bed and up to about 300 mm/s, on a 1 kg cardboard spool held to plus or minus 0.02 mm. Best for display pieces, props and anything photographed; for load-bearing parts the plain PLA+ is stronger.
