A NEMA 17 two-phase hybrid stepper - the 42 mm frame that drives nearly every desktop 3D printer and small CNC. It moves in exact increments and holds firmly between them: 200 steps a turn on the 1.8 degree version, 400 on the 0.9 degree one. This listing covers both step angles, so tell us which you need when you order. Drive it from a constant-current driver such as our A4988, or the 3 A TB6560 for a bigger machine.
Key features
- NEMA 17 frame: 42.3 mm square, 4x M3 on 31 mm centres
- 2-phase hybrid, 4-wire bipolar
- 1.8 degree = 200 steps/rev, or 0.9 degree = 400 steps/rev
- Ø5 mm output shaft with a flat
- Pairs with the A4988, or the TB6560 for more current
- Set the driver's current limit from the motor's own label
